Introduction

The Victory League played its first T-ball, baseball, and softball games in the Spring of 2005, but it is a ministry that God started in the heart of one of His children in 2003.  As the vision grew, God called the original members of the steering committee together in 2004 to pray and seek His will for this league.  God began to open doors and give direction.  Inspired by the motto, "We're not raising major league ball-players; we're training major league Christians,"  the committee trusted God to provide the resources needed to produce a wholesome environment for children to play ball, have fun, and most importantly, learn that Jesus Christ has already made us victorious through His sacrifice.  As always, God is faithful and He did not disappoint!

You are invited to come and experience what this league has to offer. The Angels will keep a smile on your face. The Saints and Maidens give us hope of what a care free life will be like. The Knights show us the thrill of competition. And the Spirits show us the spirit of love for one another. The Crusaders are marching back with more every year showing us that God's army is growing stronger.

Meanwhile the bonds between these families grow very close and the new are as welcome in the crowds as the veterans. The bonds grow tight within the teams. While the coaches are teaching the children the truth and how to talk to God on the field, the parents are ministering to the parents in a different way. About 10-15% of these families have no church to call home. The ultimate mission is being fulfilled. Little seeds are being planted. It takes a lot of work and we share the common problem of finding volunteers, but it is well worth the price. To just sit back at these games and take it all in can be so overwhelming, yet so peaceful.

We thank God for a third season to serve Him and to enjoy a great time of encouragement, instruction, and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ - Victory League Steering Committee

Rules

The Victory League rules for T-ball, baseball, and softball are based on the regulations from the National Federation of State High School Associations.  Due to our unique emphasis on Christian sportsmanship, minor modifications to the National Federation rules are listed in the attachment below.  All officials, coaches, and assistant coaches are responsible for knowing and understanding these rules.

Fields

We praise God for bringing this entire league together, including every person, church, and field.  Our prayer is that the ball-fields would be positive and encouraging sanctuaries for both players and families; therefore, all areas of the ballpark including the fields, stands, and concessions areas will be drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free sports environments during all activities associated with the Victory League. Here is a listing of the fields that we will be using this year for practices and games:
